Current research interests include:

Post Cards and People’s Lives – Examination of lots of early 20th century postcards sent to individuals (where possible, from the same individual) exploring how people used postcards alongside and in place of letters and the insights early postcards offer on the lives of senders and recipients. Currently blogging about 2-4 postcards once or so a week on this website.

Comparative Usage of Print and Electronic Books in Academic Libraries – I generated this project, but have largely handed it off (the work, but also all credit) to two excellent librarians.

Library System Migration Configurations – This is a burgeoning area looking at how decisions made during the configuration processes affect, constrain, and/or promote post-migration use. Particularly comparative configuration options and the existence or lack of re-configuration with respect to ILS/LMS and discovery.
